Beautiful Historic Grade II Listed Parkland near Pinewood Studios, Iver

GUIDED WALKS & MAPS

We have a couple of very interesting walks at Langley Park, the details and map of which you can print off and take with you.  See below for full information on each of the walks.

Walk No 1 - Temple Gardens

This lovely walk is about 1000 metres and mainly level, therefore suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs (except for a short stretch of 27 metres behind the Temple plinth where care should be exercised).  There are a number of benches for stopping places along the way.  Items of interest include the 800 year-old Yew tree; the unique rhododendrons named "The Langley Park"; the 75 feet+ reddish tinged Scots Pine trees; the view towards Windsor Castle, plus much more.

Walk No 2 - Roughwood Walk

Walk number 2 is a circular walk which should take around 30 minutes at a steady stroll.  The walk will be relatively easy walking down, but may be very strenuous when pushing a buggy or wheelchair back up.  All the paths are 'woodland paths' and contain some tree roots and light debris, but are passable with care.

Some of the interesting aspects of this walk are Verney's Walk, Bennetts Walk, the original late eighteenth century gate and fence remains, Wellingtonia trees, pollarded oaks, and an Atlas Cedar.
